Global Manufacturer TMK Commemorates Tenth Anniversary With Civic Leadership Breakfast, Formal Gala

CHICAGO, Oct. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of TMK's tenth anniversary and their growth to become one of the top three global producers of steel pipe in the world, the company's top leaders will welcome more than 400 guests to Chicago for a weekend of celebration.

The weekend will begin with a Civic Leadership breakfast, hosted at the private home of TMK IPSCO Chairman Piotr Galitzine. Along with Chairman Pumpyanskiy, Mr. Galitzine will introduce Russian Ambassador to the United States, Sergey Ivanovich Kislyak, to Chicago's business and political community and celebrate the company's successful model for Russian-American business relations.

This evening at the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, TMK's Tenth Anniversary gala will honor the people and businesses that have made TMK the leading global pipe manufacturer that it is today. The event is appropriately themed "Commitment to Innovation."

Also in honor of TMK's Tenth Anniversary celebration, and in support of the company's ongoing commitment to children and the arts, TMK has made a $100,000 donation to After School Matters®, an organization founded 20 years ago that provides Chicago public high school teenagers with innovative, hands-on, project-based out-of-school time programming in the arts, science, sports, technology and communications.
