Global Science & Technology, Inc. Awarded NOAA ProTech-Satellite Domain Contract

(GST) (http://www.gst.com/), a leading innovator of scientific services and products for satellite and weather systems, has been selected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for a prime contractor award on the ProTech-Satellite Domain. The Satellite Domain is one of five domains within the Professional and Technical Support Services (ProTech) Program's suite of contracts, with a shared $3 billion ceiling value.

As a leading contractor with many years of experience supporting NOAA projects, GST is one of 23 contractors to receive a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) ProTech-Satellite contract, a professional and technical services contract that will support NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office in collecting, preserving, and disseminating data related to operating observational satellites. These satellites are critical to NOAA's goal of forecasting weather, analyzing environmental and climate phenomena, and monitoring hazards worldwide.
