SANDOWN, Isle of Wight and CHARLOTTENLUND, Denmark, September 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
MY Single Band is on the wrists of singles in 17 countries as thousands jump to join the revolution that is sweeping across the world and grabbing the media's attention. Since the launch of http://www.mysingleworld.com in August, the divided opinion over MY Single Band continues to fuel a debate that has so far captured the attention of CNN, Fox, Good Morning America, the BBC, Channel 5 and at least another 25 news outlets.
It is acceptable to show your single status online but what about in physical life? The creators of MY Single Band are challenging singles to be more proactive in order to increase initial encounters. Sales so far have reached 17 countries, from Brazil to Britain, America to Australia.
Positive comments come from those who have tried online dating and found it to be too impersonal and others that prefer the traditional approach but find it difficult meeting other singles. Following the influx of singles wanting to share their experiences, the website will now launch 'MY Single Diary,' an in-depth look at being single from the eyes of today's singletons. Contents will include the highs, the lows, lessons learnt and shared advice.
MY Single Band is a silicone wristband designed in 7 attractive colours, with the words Fate, Destiny and Future, together with 3 white debossed MY logos, encircling the band. They come in 3 sizes and are set at an attractive price of Euro 7.5. MY Single Band is being sold from the company's home page (http://www.mysingleworld.com), through web-shop affiliates and further international partners are currently being sought.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND MY SINGLE BAND
The British-Danish collaboration behind MY Single Band is a partnership of Rina Mardahl and Rob Young. Rina is from Denmark and Rob from England. They met on holiday in June 2012 and the fortuity of their chance encounter spurred on their desire to create My Single Band. A small part of their story goes into MY Single Band with the debossed 'MY' logos being the initials of Mardahl Young. The bands and campaigns such as 'MY Single Diary' and the 'Face of MY' can be seen at: http://www.mysingleworld.com
