Global Youth Ministry Presents 'Night Of Worship' Gospel Concert In New York City
June 3rd Event to be held at the Bethel Gospel Assembly in Harlem NYC
NEW YORK, May 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On June 3, 2016, Young Life New York City (http://younglifein.nyc) will host a free gospel concert featuring Top Billboard Gospel Artists Da' T.R.U.T.H. and Casey J, highlighting the organization's year-round urban ministry with 10,000 at-risk youth across the five boroughs. The event will be held at the Bethel Gospel Assembly (http://www.bethelga.org/) this Friday (June 3rd) at 7pm. Guest performances will include Livre, the Christian Cultural Center Worship Team and Anomalous Day. At the event, concert-goers will also have an opportunity to learn more about Young Life's city ministries with teen moms, at-risk youth and kids with special needs.
New York City is known as the biggest city with the brightest lights and greatest opportunity. "Yet beyond the veneer, there are more than 2 million city kids under the age of 18 who aren't looking for their next career break but for deeper meaning and purpose," says Paul Coty, Young Life's Regional Director in New York City. "It's amazing how many NYC youth are dealing with circumstances most adults couldn't handle. Yet, most of us don't realize that many of these kids are in crisis because their stories get swallowed up in the daily grind of the big city."
Committed to bring these important stories to the forefront, Young Life New York City has partnered with renowned Gospel Artists such as Da' T.R.U.T.H. and Casey J, along with rising stars such as Livre, to build a coalition of volunteers and mentors to walk alongside 10,000 city kids in need.
