Go4theGoal Foundation initiates 1st Annual National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day on September 27 to raise awareness & support for pediatric cancer patients & research
MERCHANTVILLE, N.J., Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In an effort to raise much needed awareness and financial support for pediatric cancer patients, their families, pediatric oncology hospital units and research, Go4theGoal Foundation has declared September 27th National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day - One Day, One Dollar, One Goal ... Curing Pediatric Cancer to be held annually beginning September 27, 2011.
On September 27th, a $1.00 donation to Go4theGoal will earn participants at schools, businesses and organizations across the nation the privilege of choosing a way to "Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer" for the day, while benefitting kids with cancer. Or, click here to donate now.
The unique element of this national event is that participants will see their efforts in action, as they will have the option to donate the money raised by their school, business or organization directly to a child/family within their community, the pediatric oncology floor at their local hospital or to the G4G Foundation to continue funding research and providing scholarships to those whose ultimate goal is to cure pediatric cancers.
