GoChime announces first-party data advertising for Instagram

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today GoChime, a global leader in social marketing automation, announced a product release with Instagram Ads. The integration between GoChime and Instagram allows an advertiser to pull customer data from tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Eloqua, then reach those customers (or lookalike audiences of those customers) with advertising campaigns on Instagram.

Instagram will be the third social channel offering available to advertisers through the GoChime platform. Previously, GoChime offered advertising for Facebook and Twitter.

"Customers can now take their CRM data to one place and reach their audiences through advertising on three of the largest social channels," said Josh Emert, Chief of Product at GoChime. "Instagram has more than 400 million monthly active users. We are excited to offer Instagram as a new and engaging channel for our advertisers to reach their customers."

In addition to providing multiple advertising channels, GoChime keeps data "synced" between first-party data platforms and social advertising channels in near real-time. If customer data changes on Eloqua, for example, GoChime makes sure that change is updated on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, alleviating the need to download and upload CSV files of customer data to each channel individually.

"Bridging between marketing technology and advertising technology starts on the audience side," said Austin Evarts CEO of GoChime. "If we can bridge the silos that collect and store customer data with the channels where customers spend most of their time, it will ultimately lead to a better and more welcoming advertising experience for the customer. Adding Instagram to GoChime's advertising channel offering is a step in that direction."
