Godfather Media Announces the Appointment of AWBL Commissioner

MISSION VIEJO, Calif., May 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Godfather Media, Inc. (OTC: GFMD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean P. Smock to the American West Baseball League as Commissioner. Mr. Smock brings with him over 24 years of experience in sales and marketing as well as being a General Manager in Professional Minor League Baseball franchises.

Sean P. Smock is an independent consultant in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Smock provides consulting services to Minor League Baseball Franchise's in marketing and brand awareness, stadium leases and the formation of franchise business models.

Mr. Smock has worked for Tucson's Professional Baseball organizations since 2003, serving 6 seasons as Assistant General Manager for the Tucson Sidewinders; the Triple-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  In 2006, the Sidewinders won the Pacific Coast League and Triple-A Championships, respectively.  In 2009 Sean helped launch the highly successful Tucson Toro's of the Independent Golden Baseball League (GBL) and served as the team's General Manager.  Under Sean's tutelage the Toro's broke league records for single game and season attendance and vied for the League Championship in their inaugural season. The Toro's held the longest winning streak in the GBL with 15 consecutive wins that season. In 2010, Smock coordinated and hosted the International Minor League All Star Game.

Mr. Smock was born in Dayton, Ohio but has called Arizona his home since moving to Tucson in 1983. After obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, from Arizona State University, Sean began a successful sales and management career at Tucson Newspapers where he remained for 15 years.

Sean is active in the local community, volunteering for many charitable organizations and participating in various charity events. He also strongly supports many of the local Little League organizations throughout Tucson.
