Gold Eagle Co. Gets Motors Running at Barrett-Jackson 2012

CHICAGO, Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- This year at the Barrett-Jackson 41st Annual Auction Event in Scottsdale, AZ, attendees can expect to see everything from classic cars to motorcycles to... lawnmowers. And not just your average lawnmower but the world's fastest lawnmower. Gold Eagle® Co. Cleveland rode his first lawnmower at the age of nine and to date, has won eight national championships. Cleveland earned the "world's fastest" title in 2010 when he achieved the noted top speed at the Bonneville Salt Flats, UT on a riding lawnmower that he built. Cleveland will showcase the world's fastest lawnmower at the Gold Eagle's Engine Answerman® display (#606) located outdoors adjacent to the pre-staging lanes from Jan. 14-22. Show attendees can also view Cleveland's other creation—his monster mower—a four-wheel drive beast that is part monster truck and part lawn tractor.

In addition to fueling his passion for tricking out traditional yard equipment, Cleveland also shares his engine knowledge as Gold Eagle's Engine Answerman. As a former technician and riding lawn-mower designer, he shares his experience and advice with consumers on how they can obtain greater performance out of all things motor—from power sport vehicles and classic cars to household power equipment such as weedwackers and lawnmowers.
