Named after the Greek goddess of peace, 'Irene 9/9' will take its place on the company calendar every September 9, and is intended to inspire people across the world to express their love, and promote world peace, social harmony and family unity. The sentiment is conveyed by Irene herself, who holds the symbolic white dove in her right hand, which carries the olive branch of peace in its beak, expressing people around the world's spirit of longing for an end to global conflicts.
