Golf Galaxy to Open Interactive Retail Location in Las Vegas

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Golf Galaxy, a full-line, interactive golf retailer, announces its plans to open its second retail location in Nevada. The grand opening celebration is slated for November 1-3, in Henderson, NV at the Stephanie Street Power Center (561 North Stephanie Street). Regular store hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekend grand opening hours are Friday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Throughout the weekend, Golf Galaxy will host a variety of giveaways, competitions, and activities. Along with daily giveaways and promotions, appearances are planned on November 2 by TaylorMade-adidas Golf LPGA professional Natalie Gulbis from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by NFL Hall of Famer Marcus Allen from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both celebrities will be competing against a number of lucky customers in a skills competition for prizes. At the store, customers will be able to meet the store's PGA professionals and certified in-store club technicians; experience five hitting bays and an indoor demo range; and interact with the store's on-site, full-service 42-foot tour van. The one-of-a-kind tour van is modeled after club manufacturers' on-site PGA Tour vans. The store also features a dedicated women's shop, a driving range, and a three-speed putting green.

Measuring over 29,000 square feet in size, the Henderson store is set to serve up the ultimate display in golf equipment, accessories, apparel, and clubs from a wide set of brands, including: TaylorMade, adidas, Titleist, Callaway, PING, Adams Golf, Cleveland Golf, NikeGolf, Cobra, PUMA, Under Armour, and Travis Mathew.
