GolfLeague.us Expands Services to Include Larger Leagues with 2014 Golf League Software Program

GRAYSLAKE, Ill., Jan. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Locally owned Golf League Software Company, GolfLeague.us, announced today that it will be launching a new golf league program for leagues that play in flights or divisions effective February 1, 2014.

The new addition to the golf league software program line-up will manage leagues that have two or more divisions or flights that compete with players in their own flight. The new software will set up schedules, calculate handicaps, display leader boards, run reports and incorporate techniques to make both large and small golf leagues easier to manage.

In addition, the company will release a new "Captain" feature, which while available for all league types, is also aimed at improving the manageability of larger golf leagues. The hierarchy of league management within the software is: Main Administrator, Admin Approved, Captain and Member. The new "Captain" status allows an administrator to give limited management privileges to a player to help manage teams and flights.

GolfLeague founder Joe Thomas expects this new program to improve the versatility of the company's ability to service the large golf league market, as well as small leagues, which currently is the majority of the software makers' business.
