LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodman Audio Services provided live sound services for the 82nd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade and Concert. The event, presented by Associated Television International, will be broadcast globally during the month of December.
Goodman Audio handled the broadcast music and production mix, provided audio for the parade route including wireless two-way communication between the hosts and the talent in the cars and floats, and audio support on dueling stages for the star-studded musical acts which included Stevie Wonder, The Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Ray Cyrus, LeAnn Rimes, Daughtry, Kenny Loggins and Richie Sambora.
Hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams, the Hollywood Christmas Parade will be broadcast as a two-hour special on December 11 on the Hallmark Channel and on KTLA in Los Angeles on December 20 from 8-10 p.m. Additionally it will be broadcast on more than 350 other local stations and to American servicemen and women on the American Forces Television Network around the world.
The parade, with Buzz Aldrin serving as Grand Marshal, benefited Toys for Tots.
