Goodman JFS to Host Annual KOLOT Luncheon Featuring Guest Speaker and Domestic Abuse Survivor Leslie Morgan Steiner English
PLANTATION, Fla., July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodman Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Broward will hold its annual KOLOT Break the Silence Luncheon on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Renaissance Hotel, located at 1230 S. Pine Island Road in Davie, FL.
The luncheon's featured speaker is author, businesswoman and domestic abuse survivor Leslie Morgan Steiner. Steiner, a graduate of Harvard University and the Wharton School of Business, is the author of the New York Times best-selling book Crazy Love. A compelling story of life, love and survival, Crazy Love takes you inside the violent and devastating world of domestic abuse. Steiner will discuss her upbringing, education, surviving domestic violence and living life to the fullest.
KOLOT is a coalition of volunteers made up of professionals, survivors and advocates who are committed to enlightening and educating the Jewish community about domestic abuse. The JFS Domestic Abuse Program provides counseling, case management, emergency financial assistance and referrals to safe shelter and community resources to victims of domestic abuse.

Tickets for the KOLOT Break the Silence Luncheon are now available for purchase on the Goodman JFS website at www.jfsbroward.org. Ticket cost is $125 per person including lunch.
