GOP Official James Dunn Endorses John Doak
TULSA, Okla., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Republican National Committeeman James Dunn has endorsed John Doak in his bid for the Republican nomination for Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner.
"My title within the Republican Party is just that; I'm endorsing John Doak as an individual and a concerned Republican," Dunn said. "I believe John Doak is the best candidate to win in November, but I also know he is a true conservative and will be a pro-life, pro-business Insurance Commissioner. In the light of Obama Care, we need a man like John Doak in that office."
Dunn is the latest Republican to endorse Doak. Since the primary election, Doak has received the endorsements of a number of highly respected Republican leaders, including former U.S. Senator Don Nickles and former Republican gubernatorial candidate Randy Brogdon.
"I am so proud to have James Dunn's endorsement," said Doak. "He is a great Republican and conservative leader. Anytime someone of James Dunn's caliber gets behind your candidacy, it really says a lot about the direction you're going in."
Doak, of Tulsa, has joined a federal lawsuit against Obama Care and is an advocate of implementing health care solutions at the state level, of buying insurance across state lines and of association health plans to increase options and lower insurance costs for Oklahomans.
He has served as an agent for Farmers Insurance and State Farm Insurance as well as serving in executive positions with national companies such as March Inc. and Aon Risk Services and is a member of the Asbury Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association.
