Combining the latest technology with his love of Christ, Chinese inventor Jonathan Leung has developed a truly unique religious item

It's called GOSBEL, a doorbell that enables the homeowner to "share the gospel" with pre-selected passages from the Bible and Christian hymns as a doorbell ringtone. GOSBEL is also a sophisticated security device that allows the owner to speak with the person ringing the doorbell.

By connecting a Smartphone to the GOSBEL via the Internet, notifications will be sent to the phone when visitors ring the doorbell. The homeowner can then speak to visitors through the camera on GOSBEL.

The GOSBEL also has an inbuilt smart card reader that provides a secure way to open a door or gate in combination with the "Heaven's ID" smart card that comes with every unit. It has a host of other mobile applications and uses. Less than 3 ½ inches square, the GOSBEL is compact, easy to install and fits most houses.
Although a successful prototype has been developed, Leung needs an additional $50,000 for materials, manufacturing, testing and marketing. To generate this capital, he has launched an Indiegogo campaign at www.indiegogo.com/projects/gosbel-world-s-1st-smart-gospel-sharing-doorbell.
Donations of any amount are welcome. For a $49 contribution backers will receive a wireless GOSBEL set, which is more than 50 percent off the retail price of $99.
For $249, you can get a special GOSBEL package, which includes a color touch screen with full features, a photo frame doorbell, Heaven's ID smart card with AR Technology and a remote video intercom mobile phone app for both Android and IOS.
Shipping outside of China is an additional $30.
