The National Labor Relations Board has released a new mandatory federal labor law poster that must be posted by November 14, 2011
ST. PAUL, Minn., Sept. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) released a new federal labor law poster communicating employee's right to organize. This poster is required for all private employers subject to the National Labor Relations Act regardless of employee organization status. The poster is not required for public-sector employees, agricultural and domestic workers, air and rail carriers covered by the Railway Labor Act, and the U.S. Postal Service.
"Failure to post this notice could be treated as an unfair labor practice under the National Labor Relations Act, so it is important for employers to post whether their employees are unionized or not," explains Zach Stabenow, CEO and Founder of GovDocs Inc.
The Federal-on-One poster from GovDocs includes the new posting along with the other federal labor laws most business need to post, giving companies one comprehensive, laminated resource. GovDocs offers a full suite of labor law compliance products, including materials for all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and an annual update subscription service that automatically sends new posters to employers whenever mandatory changes occur that impact their businesses.
