TULSA, Okla., April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Gas Processors Association (GPA) and Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) recently announced new officers elected to lead the respective organizations. The officers were confirmed at the 92nd annual GPA Convention held in San Antonio, Texas, earlier this month.

GPA is a trade association serving operating companies in the midstream energy sector; its officers are elected to one-year terms.
Joel Moxley, chief operating officer and senior vice president of Crestwood Holdings Partners, will lead GPA as the newly elected president. Moxley is responsible for Crestwood's operations in the natural gas gathering, gas processing and downstream natural gas liquids (NGLs) segments of the partnership. He has been involved with the GPA board of directors for almost 10 years and has been active in leading the association's legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts since 2011.
President-elect is John Mollenkopf, chief operating officer and senior vice president of MarkWest Energy Partners. His career spans more than three decades in the energy industry with several executive-level positions; he has served on the GPA board for three years.
GPA has three vice presidents: Terrance (Terry) McGill, Richard (Rick) Cargile, and William (Bill) Ordemann.
McGill is president of Enbridge Energy Co. and has held various leadership positions for the company since 2002. Prior to joining Enbridge, he served in a number of executive positions in the energy industry. He has been a GPA board member since 2011.
Cargile is president of Energy Transfer Partners' (ETP) midstream division. He joined ETP in 2012 with more than 30 years of midstream experience, most recently as president of DCP Midstream's southern business unit. Cargile has served on GPA's program committee and enters his third year as a board member.
Ordemann is senior vice president of Enterprise Products Partners' unregulated NGLs, crude and natural gas assets group. Ordemann has served Enterprise in a number of executive roles since he joined the company in connection with its purchase of certain midstream energy assets from affiliates of Shell Oil Co. in 1999. He has been active in GPA activities since 2007, including six years as a board member.
GPSA, also a trade association, is GPA's sister organization representing its members of service and supply companies in the midstream industry. Its officers are appointed by the association's board of directors and serve one-year terms. The 2013 – 2014 officers are:
- President Bob Huebel, vice president, CB&I Randall Gas Technologies
- First Vice President David Bardeen, director of North American sales, Ariel Corp.
- Second Vice President Sean Sullivan, CEO, Elkhorn Holdings
- Treasurer Steve Tzap, CEO, ZAP Engineering and Construction Services
The officers assumed their new responsibilities upon the conclusion of the GPA Convention, which brought nearly 2,400 midstream industry professionals together to share information about research and development, safe operations and environmental performance, and legislative and regulatory issues, among others.
