Grand Opening For New Goddard School In Long Meadow Farms, Texas

Located at 21024 West Bellfort Street in Richmond, the new school is owned by husband and wife team Samir and Tamkeen Shroff. In honor of the Houston area school's opening, the community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 11.

The grand opening festivities at The Goddard School located in Long Meadow Farms will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 11. In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony, families will enjoy rides, face painting, a balloon artist and other fall activities and crafts. Families who enroll during this event will receive free registration for children.

Prior to becoming a Goddard School franchisee, Tamkeen spent 12 years in the education field as a secondary school administrator and teacher. This is the first joint business venture for Tamkeen and her husband Samir. The two have assembled a team of directors to provide excellence throughout the school, including Annmarie George as operations director and manager of health and safety and Myra Hardwick as curriculum specialist.

The Shroffs are very involved in the community and have actively volunteered in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth during the past 20 years with organizations including the Social Safety Net, Aga Khan Foundation and the Education Board for the Ismaili Centers. They've also worked with local seniors to find resources and services that help them maintain their independence and social connection in their older age.
