Granite Consulting Group Inc. Releases the "Top 10 Rising Stars in Internal Audit™"

BREWSTER, N.Y., June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The future of the internal audit profession was unveiled in a recent award program sponsored by Granite Consulting Group Inc., The Georgetown Group and Women Corporate Directors. 

The Top 10 Rising Stars in Internal Audit™ is a business award for new and soon to be Chief Audit Executives. It was established to recognize high performing members of the Internal Audit profession who have contributed in new and interesting ways. 

The Top 10 award winners were selected by a judging panel consisting of thought leaders in the internal audit profession.  Current Chief Audit Executives as well as public company Board Members and members of academia were represented on the judging panel. 

The concept of "Rising Stars in Internal Audit" was selected to highlight the leaders (and their organizations) who will guide internal audit through this next iteration of change and to assist managers of internal audit functions (IAFs) to enhance their organizations' corporate governance.
