LocalX Marketing (www.localxmarketing.com) is a company-owned digital marketing solution that brings products and services to local businesses throughout all markets in which Gray operates television stations.
The newly-formed division has teams of specialized experts to provide fully customizable solutions for local businesses and local non-profits to grow and thrive in the digital space. Powered by Gray, LocalX is designed to keep advertisers ahead of the ever-changing world of digital marketing, harnessing the best local experts in each service area of the digital marketing wheel. LocalX services include mobile and responsive design, search engine optimization, social media management, ecommerce, database management, call tracking, and reputation management. Gray is partnering with New Jersey based company TrafficBuilders for back-end support of its LocalX services.
After a year and a half of research and development, the launch of LocalX Marketing gives Gray the opportunity to extend beyond its traditional revenue streams. In addition to selling television and web advertising, we will now provide professional and enterprise level digital marketing services to existing and new local clients in our markets. The first phase of the company-wide launch includes 19 of Gray's markets. The roll-out across all Gray markets will be complete by the fourth quarter of this year.
We are a television broadcast company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, that owns and/or operates television stations and leading digital assets in dozens of markets across the country. Upon completion of all previously announced and pending transactions, we will own and/or operate television stations in 40 television markets broadcasting a total of 136 program streams including 73 affiliates of the Big Four networks (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC). At that time, our owned and/or operated stations will include twenty-seven channels affiliated with the CBS Network, twenty-two channels affiliated with the NBC Network, fourteen channels affiliated with the ABC Network and ten channels affiliated with the FOX Network. We will then own and/or operate the number-one ranked television station in 27 of those 40 markets and the number-one or number-two ranked television station operations in 37 of those 40 markets. We will reach approximately 7.3 percent of total United States television households.
