
GRB Entertainment Rebrands to GRB STUDIOS
Ups Scot Cru to Company President
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- GRB Entertainment has been renamed to GRB Studios to better align its name with its newly expanded creative direction. Founder and CEO, Gary R. Benz announced today that, along with several key executive promotions as part of the reorganization, the company is expanding its focus to worldwide growth as a premiere content production and distribution company.
Scot Cru has been promoted to President of the reorganized company. He was previously named President of GRB's International sales and distribution activity. Cru joined GRB in July after a 15-year stint with Mark Burnett and was quickly tapped for the head role when a former lead executive departed the company.
Cru and Benz will shepherd the company moving forward. In his new role Cru immediately promoted Karen Pinto to EVP of Production and Megan Reeves to SVP Development. Cru's former lieutenant, Patrice Choghi, who he recently brought on as SVP of International, will continue in that post, now running the company's international distribution and production arm.

GRB Studios will continue with current productions such as the Emmy® winning program, Intervention (A&E Networks) as well as producing newly commissioned series and pilots.

In his new role Cru will be responsible for growing the company's profitability and extending its reach including development, production, sales and acquisitions. The company plans aggressive expansion of its business across all fronts.
