Greater Than One Wins the Triple Hat at 2014 IAC Awards
NEW YORK, April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Web Marketing Association has announced the winners of its 12thannual Internet Advertising Competition Awards. Digital communications company Greater Than One, Inc. (GTO) took home three of the top trophies for 2014: Best Pharmaceuticals Online Video, Best Energy Website, and Best Advocacy Online Video.
Best Pharmaceuticals Online Video went to the Breast Cancer Awareness video GTO produced for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The video highlighted GSK's commitment to the treatment of metastatic breast cancer during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The video focused on metastatic breast cancer patients who have gone through multiple rounds of treatment and are seeking new ways to fight their disease – a population often forgotten during this time of celebration. The video was shared internally on flat screens in GSK's offices, as well as on GSK's company intranet, where employees could watch and share. The straightforward tone and stark statistics served as a reminder to GSK employees of what they're fighting for.
Best Energy Website went to GTO's redesign of Hess.com. GTO's design and tech teams elevated the Hess brand story to convey how the company has become a global force in energy by augmenting and diversifying their product offerings. Users gain with a richer, more engaging experience, utilizing fully responsive design to ensure functionality across all devices, a custom HTML5 video player, Enterprise CMS with the capability to launch micro-sites off of the main site on demand, and a host of other exciting interactive tools.
Greater Good, GTO's pro bono arm, took home the Best Advocacy Online Video via their Big Red Box initiative. Greater Good is GTO's effort to make a positive impact on the local communities where employees live and work: New York, San Francisco, and Madrid. The Big Red Box is used to raise awareness for local charities, and has significantly expanded Greater Good's donation capabilities. 100% of all donations have gone directly to those in need.
