Helfrich has a history of promoting renewable, environmentally-friendly technologies. She was most recently VP of marketing for SolarCity® where she helped bring the company from start-up to leading clean energy brand. Before SolarCity, Helfrich held a number of high-level marketing roles, including VP of marketing for BigBand Networks and VP of marketing for Copper Mountain Networks, where she managed marketing teams that helped both expand from start-up through IPO to publicly traded companies. Helfrich holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from St. Mary's College.

"Blu Homes represents a completely fresh take on the marriage of green and high-tech," says Helfrich. "This is an important and exciting time to join a team that is revolutionizing the future of homebuilding using pre-fabricated, luxury green home construction and I look forward to drawing from my experience to drive the company forward."
