This initiative, part of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA), aims to reduce barriers to employment and help job seekers launch rewarding new careers.
The partnership is designed specifically for individuals with little or no prior work experience and is open to qualified candidates who meet the following requirements:
Participants will receive hands-on training in the electrical trade, gaining valuable, marketable skills that can lead to long-term employment with GWP or provide a steppingstone to other career opportunities in the industry. This win-win collaboration ensures that GWP gains access to motivated, trainable candidates, while participants build real-world experience and a pathway to a sustainable career.
