Multi-year partnership reaches a major deployment milestone, delivering 99.72% uptime across a growing network of commercial EV charging sites.
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Water & Power (GWP), a national leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, today announced a major milestone in its ongoing partnership with Autel Energy: the installation of more than 10,000 Autel Energy EV chargers nationwide since 2023. The achievement cements GWP's position as Autel Energy's largest buyer and underscores the scale of the two companies' collaboration to accelerate EV adoption across the United States.
GWP has worked closely with Autel Energy to deploy reliable, high-performance commercial charging solutions across a wide range of verticals, including hotels, apartments, retail centers, schools, medical facilities, and fleet operations, across twelve states. The network has delivered a combined 16.6 million kWh to date, maintaining an average uptime of 99.72% — a testament to the reliability of Autel Energy's hardware and software platform and GWP's field service and maintenance standards. That energy output is equivalent to avoiding approximately 23,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions.
"Crossing 10,000 installed chargers with Autel Energy is a milestone we're proud of, but the number that matters most to us is 99.72% uptime. Property owners and drivers don't care about how many chargers we've installed — they care that the one in front of them works every time they need it. That reliability is what's made Autel Energy a great partner for us since day one, and it's what let us scale into every vertical our customers operate in, from hotels and apartments to schools and hospitals. We're just getting started." said Danny Gold, President of Green Water & Power.
"From the outset, we designed our charging hardware and supporting software to deliver reliability and flexibility at scale. GWP has demonstrated what that looks like in practice—by consistently exceeding industry benchmarks across their entire network. This partnership shows how dependable technology and strong execution can accelerate EV adoption nationwide," said Michelle Luo, CEO of Autel Energy North America.
GWP and Autel Energy show no signs of slowing down. GWP is already contracted to install more than 3,000 additional Level 2 chargers and 100 Level 3 fast chargers in the coming months, with other projects in various stages of development, including solar installations.
