Greenest Student on Earth Competition Highlights Kids' Environmental Projects Around the World

BALI, Indonesia, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Students from around the world have entered an online competition to win the title of "Greenest Student on Earth."  Short video entries describe how students are making a positive difference for the environment, and are available for public viewing and voting at www.greenschool.org between April 22 and June 5, 2013. Three winners, one each from primary, middle, and high school, will win a scholarship to attend the award-winning Green School in Bali, Indonesia.

Green School, winner of the prestigious 2012 Greenest School on Earth award from the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council, is an international school whose mission is to inspire students to be creative, innovative green leaders. With its Greenest Student on Earth Scholarship Competition, Green School is seeking to add promising young environmentalists from around the world to its student body.

Video entries were submitted in the Greenest Student on Earth Scholarship Competition by students from nearly every continent. Green School Bali is sponsoring the contest to emphasize the importance of caring for the environment to young people everywhere. Scholarship winners will be announced on June 5, 2013.
