HONG KONG and SHANGHAI, Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The 30th edition of CHINAPLAS, Asia's largest plastics and rubber trade fair, will take place April 25-28 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Some 140,000 professional buyers will visit 3,200 exhibitors covering more than 240,000 square meters of exhibit space, according to organizer Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. With the theme of "Greenovation for a Smart Future," the show will feature concurrent events on medical plastics, Industry 4.0, and Design x Innovation.
Medical Plastics Conference
On April 25-26 at CHINAPLAS 2016, Adsale will organize its "2nd Medical Plastics Conference" to provide insights on new technologies and the latest developments related to the use of plastics in medical devices, disposables and packaging. Provisional topics include: automation for upgrading production; cleanroom manufacturing technologies; medical-grade polymer applications for disposables; pharmaceutical packaging solutions; innovative applications of 3-D printing; and sterile barrier systems for medical packaging.
Industry 4.0 Conference
The concept of "Industry 4.0" is providing a roadmap for the fourth industrial revolution, revolving around the much-anticipated "smart factory." On April 26-27 at CHINAPLAS, Adsale will team up with VDMA, the German Engineering Federation, to present the Industry 4.0 Conference. It will feature leading experts from firms such as Haier, Arburg, Engel and KraussMaffei as they share their know-how to help companies improve productivity, efficiency, quality and factory automation. Building on the success of the first such event at CHINAPLAS 2015, "Design X Innovation" returns to Shanghai in 2016.
