GreenWorld Restoration receives IDIQ award from the Texas General Land Office to rebuild homes destroyed in natural disasters
AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 10, 2013, GreenWorld Restoration received a fully executed contract from the Texas General Land Office for Modular and Alternative Housing. The Texas General Land Office (GLO) has received allocations from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) totaling $3.2 billion for disaster reconstruction related to Hurricanes Ike and Dolly, and the Texas wildfires. Approximately 50% of these funds are allocated to rebuilding 12,000 homes. Under this project, the GLO has been tasked with creating a highly qualified pool of contractors to rebuild single family homes. GreenWorld Restoration is one of the selected vendors due to their innovative materials and solutions.
