Greystone Healthcare Centers Earn Honors for Superior Quality Care
TAMPA, Fla., June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Seven of Greystone Health Network's health and rehabilitation centers have been recognized with the 2015 Commitment to Quality Award – Bronze, presented to only seven percent of Florida's skilled nursing facilities, by the American Health Care Association and National Center For Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The award honors centers across the nation that have demonstrated commitment to quality care for seniors. Bronze status facilities are qualified to pursue silver status and ultimately gold.
The Greystone Health Network's centers honored include Apollo Health and Rehabilitation Center, Citrus Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center, The Gardens Health and Rehabilitation, Viera Health and Rehabilitation Center and Woodland Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Implemented in 1996, the National Quality Award Program requires three levels: bronze, silver, and gold. Bronze applicants demonstrate their performance improvement system and realize their mission and vision. Trained examiners select only the most qualified applicants to receive the bronze distinction.
