Groundbreaking documentary "The Science of Personality" available online today
Film focuses on how personality affects different aspects of life
TULSA, Okla., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- "The Science of Personality," a documentary that explores what personality is and how it affects our lives and the lives of those around us, will be available for viewing online beginning today, Tuesday, Oct. 14. The film was produced by Hogan Assessments, a Tulsa-based company founded by Drs. Joyce and Robert Hogan, who grew the company to become one of the most successful personality assessment providers in the world.
"Personality psychology is about the nature of human nature," said Dr. Robert Hogan, president of Hogan Assessment Systems, a lead contributor of the film. "How you think about human nature frames all subsequent discussions."
Hogan provides personality assessments and consulting for corporations in 56 countries and 43 languages. The documentary was originally developed to provide a short history for non-psychologists and those new to Hogan, but as planning progressed, it became evident that the film could serve as a tool to help explain a complex subject to a broad audience.
"Personality plays a large role in determining how we set and work toward our goals in business and at home," said Natalie Tracy, executive producer of the film and vice president of marketing and public relations at Hogan. "This film explores the study of personality, how it affects our lives and how it impacts leadership and organizational effectiveness."
Hogan produced the film in association with Signal Factory. Contributors to the film include psychology experts and professors Adrian Furnham, W. Warner Burke, PhD, and Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, PhD.
"The Science of Personality" is available for viewing via the documentary's website, www.thescienceofpersonality.com, beginning today, Tuesday, Oct. 14.
