GroupBy International Releases World's First Smart Cooler to US Markets
The gcooler allows users to monitor the cooler's internal temperature through Bluetooth

Powered by a rechargeable Bluetooth transmitter, gcooler alerts users of the internal temperature of the cooler directly to an app on the user's smartphone. This technology allows gcooler to stay closed, keeping the contents inside cold for longer periods of time.

The Technology Behind: gcooler
The g-Tag, a Bluetooth transmitter with a built-in temperature sensor, is placed inside a waterproof pouch and then fastened to the inside of the gcooler. Users download a free iOS or Android app which can be programmed to generate alerts (vibration, sound or both) when the internal temperature rises above the desired threshold. Thresholds can be adjusted based on the contents of the cooler.
Gcooler is designed with high-quality, environment-friendly materials and the five layers of insulation help to keep the internal temperature of gcooler stable. It is large enough to fit 24 12 oz. cans plus ice, and the high-quality nylon strap makes it easy to take gcooler just about anywhere.
