GTSI Awarded Top Honors as One of the Washington Area's Healthiest Employers

Companies were selected for the honor based on the results of a survey conducted by Healthiest Employers and developed by a committee including representatives from the health care, wellness, academic and business communities.  Winners were celebrated at an awards reception held September 22, 2011, in Bethesda, Md.

In its inaugural year, The Washington Business Journal selected the top 40 healthiest employers in the Washington Metropolitan Area.  Over 100 companies submitted applications for this coveted award.  GTSI won first place in the size category of 100–499 employees. Scoring by a professional panel was based on survey responses in seven key areas of workplace wellness: culture and leadership, commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communications and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
