Guangdong Provincial Party Secretary Hu Chunhua meets CEO of Mindai.com in New York
NEW YORK, May 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The China (Guangdong) - US (New York) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference hosted by the provincial government of Guangdong, China took place in New York on May 13. Hu Chunhua, provincial party secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a key speech and met Chen Ting, CEO of Mindai.com, a leader in mobile technology-related financial innovation in China, before the conference.
The China (Guangdong) - US (New York) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference focused on several topics of relevance to the trends dominating the global economy, including finance, internet Plus (the Chinese government's program of driving manufacturing to leverage the internet into their industry chain), high-technology and advanced manufacturing. A number of world's top 500 firms including Qualcomm, The Nielson Company, JP Morgan and Citibank as well as 85 leading Chinese firms, including China Merchants Bank, China Guangfa Bank, GZ Huiyin Tianyue, BYD, DJI, BGI, VIP.com, Shenzhen Robot, Vanke and Mindai.com, took part in the event. Before the conference, Hu Chunhua held meetings with Patrick Santillo, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for China at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Kathy Hochul, Lieutenant Governor of the State of New York, Myron Brilliant, Executive Vice President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Chen Ting, CEO of Mindai.com as well as top executives from JP Morgan and Citibank and other leading firms.
After listening to Chen Ting's presentation concerning Mindai.com's development model, a model which combines stable financial activities with innovation in mobile technology, and the progress achieved so far by the model, Hu Chunhua encouraged Mindai.com to continue the sound and innovative development work.

The conference focused on three topics: finance, internet Plus and cooperation in terms of technology. Mindai.com also was selected by the organizers to be one of 22 leading Chinese firms at the "Internet Plus Business Networking" session, one of three business networking sessions held on May 13. The Chinese firm held on-site discussions and exchanges with leading global firms including Google, Insight Venture Partners, the Data Science Office at J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) and The Nielson Company, jointly boosting exchanges and cooperation in related sectors between American and Chinese firms.
