Guard A Heart Serves As The Charity Of Choice For Fashion Destination's "Sail In Style" Yacht Event On September 29, 2012

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Guard a Heart, a non-profit foundation committed to raising awareness about Heart Disease prevention, will be honored as the charity of choice for Fashion Destination's "Sail In Style" annual VIP event on September 29, 2012.

The evening yacht excursion will feature fabulous high fashions, great food, live entertainment and celebrity appearances aboard Pacific Avalon's Majestic Yacht. Actress Maria Menounos and co-host of Extra will host the event and Gretchen Rossi, OC Real Housewife, will showcase her handbag collection. Meet the winner of the Mermaid Model Search and view Fashions by Nicole Richie, sponsored by Macy's. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Guard a Heart Foundation to support their "Know Your Risk, Inspire Life" campaign, raising awareness for Heart Disease prevention and education. Through their events this year they have raised awareness for heart disease and empowered individuals to take charge of their health. Because of their efforts, hundreds of people now know their heart score and many individuals have been identified as high risk.
