TORONTO, April 17, 2015 /CNW/ - Effective immediately, Guard.me International Insurance, one of the world's largest insurance providers in the international education market, is pleased to announce a partnership with Morneau Shepell (TSX: MSI), Canada's leading provider of employee and family assistance programs, to provide an enhanced service for international students.
Through Morneau Shepell's worldwide network, Guard.me will be providing access to immediate and confidential culturally relevant counselling 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Available in a language of choice, the customized International Student Support Program (ISSP) is designed to help students cope with feelings of loneliness, stress and anxiety associated with adjusting to a new culture while studying abroad. The program is the first of its kind in the industry and is offered on a number of platforms, including online chat, video and email.
