Hackney Publications Introduces Sports Facilities and the Law and Editor in Chief Gil Fried
AUSTIN, Texas, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hackney Publications announced today the launch of Sports Facilities and the Law (SFL), a periodical that will be guided in large part by Gil Fried, a sport management professor at the University of New Haven, and an illustrious advisory board of attorneys and facility management experts from across the country.
SFL's mission is to provide information and solutions to sport facility executives, their counsels, and affiliates to help minimize legal issues and help solve legal problems. Rather than just report critical issues, SFL will endeavor to provide context and solutions for managers and attorneys.

About Gil Fried
Gil Fried is a Chair/ Full Professor at the University of New Haven, College of Business, in the Sport Management Program. Professor Fried is a specialist in sport law, finance, and facility management. He has written over ten books on sport risk management, sport facility management, and sport finance. One of the books he wrote is the Academy for Venue Safety and Security textbook used by the International Association of Venue Managers. Professor Fried coordinates the Patron Management Institute and developed their Certificate in Patron Management Program.
