Agentic compliance infrastructure provider selected by national RIA to modernize communications archiving and deploy AI governance purpose-built for SEC and FINRA oversight
NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hadrius, the leading agentic compliance infrastructure for financial services firms, today announced that Ritholtz Wealth Management ("Ritholtz"), a national RIA overseeing more than $9.4 billion for individuals, high-net-worth clients and institutions, has selected Hadrius to monitor Claude Enterprise activity and data access as well as archive user interactions with Claude. The oversight provided by Hadrius enables Ritholtz to safely deploy Anthropic's enterprise Claude chatbot across its entire workforce.
Hadrius' monitoring tool represents the first AI governance module tailored specifically to financial services. The partnership originated when Ritholtz approached Hadrius needing specialized AI oversight aligned with SEC requirements. While regulators have established that existing supervisory obligations apply to AI, specific monitoring standards remain unwritten. Hadrius leveraged its deep expertise in AI and wealth management compliance to rapidly build and deploy the precise oversight solution required.
"Compliance officers are being asked to roll out technology no one has written the rules for yet," said Thomas Stewart, Co-Founder & CEO of Hadrius. "This tool lets firms treat AI activity the way they already treat email: logged, reviewable, and ready for an examiner. We're proud to partner with Ritholtz on innovating the type of oversight that lets advisors leverage AI without compromising regulatory compliance."
Built around Hadrius' integration with Claude's Compliance API, the tool delivers real-time usage metrics to ensure employee LLM activity conforms to data security standards and automatically archives according to SEC and FINRA recordkeeping rules. As part of the firmwide rollout, Ritholtz will also consolidate all non-AI communications archiving onto Hadrius, marking a key step toward a unified compliance ecosystem.
"AI is coming to every wealth management firm whether they have a strategy for it or not," said Josh Brown, CEO of Ritholtz. "We know our people are going to use these tools, and we want them using the best ones with the right guardrails in place. The question was how do we give everyone access to Claude while giving our compliance team the visibility and controls they need? Hadrius understood that immediately. They built the infrastructure that lets us embrace this technology nimbly and responsibly. That's how you actually innovate in a regulated industry."
The proliferation of AI tools has created a new source of employee activity for regulated financial firms to supervise and retain. Hadrius brings that activity into the same compliance infrastructure as other communications channels, helping firms like Ritholtz reduce blind spots while maintaining searchable, audit-ready records.
