DALLAS, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Halliburton Investor Relations & Communications (HIR), a Dallas-based, strategic investor relations and communications firm, is pleased to announce the election of Hala Elsherbini onto the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) National board of directors. The appointment became official last week at the annual meeting, when NIRI members elected Ms. Elsherbini and other new directors to four year terms.

Hala is a long-time NIRI member and has served in various board roles at the Dallas*Fort Worth chapter, along with serving on planning committees for the Southwest Regional Conference and the NIRI Annual Conference. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating officer at Halliburton Investor Relations, where she is responsible for the direction and coordination of the agency's client service programs.
