TULSA, Okla., Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jewelry trends come and go, but timeless keepsake jewelry is forever. The Vintage Pearl has seen double digit sales growth each year for the last five years by making sentimental, personalized jewelry that is classic, beautifully crafted and hand-stamped to capture memories of loved ones and special times.

The company, founded in 2007 by Erin Edwards, started as a hobby and grew to a home-based business. Edwards, a stay-at-home mom who had been looking for a creative outlet, taught herself to make hand-stamped jewelry. It became such a passion that she soon began selling it on eBay and Etsy.com and eventually launched www.thevintagepearl.com.

Her use of high-quality materials and exclusive, hand-drawn designs and her commitment to handcrafting each piece kept the orders flowing. In 2010 she opened her first retail location in Tulsa, Okla. Today, The Vintage Pearl employs more than 50 people in its new 8,200-square-foot studio and retail locations in Tulsa and Edmond, Okla.

"Even though we've grown, our commitment to making every piece by hand from start to finish in our studio has never changed. Created with raw sterling silver, Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls, the handmade items are made to order with names, initials and meaningful symbols and typically ship within 10-15 days. Ready-to-ship items, perfect for last-minute gifts for any occasion, leave the studio in three to five days. Most pieces range from $50-$100.

This year, The Vintage Pearl introduced Heart & Soul, a wholesale line, allowing retailers across the country to carry meaningful ready-made pieces.
