Handtmann Introduces Specialized Snack Stick Stuffer

LAKE FOREST, Ill. and WATERLOO, Ontario, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Handtmann VF 600 series, known for its legendary reliability, breaks new ground once again with the niche 16-vane Handtmann VF 624 designed specifically for small portion, small caliber cooked snack sticks. 

The innovative VF 624 features smaller cells and longer lasting vanes dynamically controlled by Handtmann servo systems to deliver highly accurate and adjustable small caliber portioning, even at high pressures with products containing up to 15% air.   Handtmann has optimized its small portion pump geometry to reduce side plate pressure in the VF 624 while enabling higher cell pressures and eliminating bending at all pressures.   The new Handtmann VF 624 design also improves vane travel in the rotor to manage pulsing and leakage while requiring less torque and increasing vane life.  New materials in the meat pump now deliver Handtmann's highly accurate portioning for longer intervals between adjustments.
