Hanover Research Acquires Subscribers of Educational Research Service

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanover Research, a Washington, D.C.-based leader in providing unlimited on-demand, customized research to enterprise, education, health care, and non-profit organizations, announced today that it has acquired key assets of Educational Research Service (ERS), an Alexandria, Virginia-based provider of decision support tools for public school districts.

ERS, a nonprofit organization, has been providing independent, objective research and data to local K-12 school administrators, equipping them to make better-informed decisions, since 1973. Hanover will continue ERS's sound mission of "improving the education of children and youth by providing educators with timely and reliable research and information" and enhance ERS's former services by providing customized research to education leaders nationwide.

Relatively new in the K-12 space, Hanover has experienced substantial growth in their first three years working with systems and has watched their membership base increase to over 100 districts, regions, and states.
