Harmony Health Plan Honored with Praize Productions' "Pearl of Wisdom" Award
CHICAGO and TAMPA, Fla., March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Harmony Health Plan, Inc., a WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) company, announced today that it was recognized with a "Pearls of Wisdom" award by Praize Productions, Inc. (PPI) in recognition of Harmony's contributions to the health and well-being of women in Chicago.
PPI is a six-year-old not-for-profit organization focused on arts enrichment infused with education and social programming for people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. PPI mentors and teaches children in Chicago's inner city about the arts, provides professional training at affordable rates and offers mentorship and professional performance opportunities.
The Pearls of Wisdom award recognizes individuals who are doing incredible things in health and science, entertainment, education and entrepreneurship. In 2016, Harmony launched the EmPowerHer. EmPowerMe. EmPower Us. community-based initiative, designed to meet women where they are with the information they need to lead better, healthier lives.
