HarrisonRand Advertising Wins 31 Awards
Places First In Statewide Competition
GUTTENBERG, N.J., June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HarrisonRand, New Jersey's oldest and only third-generation owned and operated advertising agency, placed first in the NJ Ad Club's statewide advertising competition. The agency was presented with a total of 31 awards at the 47th Annual Jersey Awards.
During last week's ceremony held at The Grove in Cedar Grove, the agency received 11 First Place, 13 Second Place and 7 Third Place awards in 24 categories, making HarrisonRand the most recognized agency in the competition.
The "Jersey City - Make It Yours" campaign, created on behalf of the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation, won 15 awards across 11 categories. The agency's work on behalf of New Jersey City University (NJCU) was honored with seven awards, including multiple First Place wins for Social Media Branding, Outdoor and Transit Advertising. The University's video entry won Second Place. Work for Choose New Jersey, the state's lead economic development organization, won three awards, including honors for video production and trade show booth graphics.
Two Second Place awards for Social Media Branding and Digital Newsletters were awarded to HarrisonRand for Otterstedt Insurance Agency. Creative showcasing the LibertyHealth Foundation supporting the mission of the Jersey City Medical Center - Barnabas Health was also recognized with two awards for Not-for-Profit Work and Invitations.

Brothers Jason and David Rand, both New York agency and media veterans, re-launched the family firm in 2009, focusing on a forward-thinking, integrated approach built on the strong tradition of excellence set by their founder and grandfather, Harold Harrison. A member of the Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey sponsored by the NJ Ad Club, he is succeeded by his daughter, Daryl Rand, also a member of the distinguished Hall of Fame roster.
Over the past 50 years, the NJ Ad Club has grown in size and scope and is now the largest organization of its kind in New Jersey. The Club fosters and strengthens the interests of the advertising business in the state, represents its membership on statewide as well as national issues, provides a cohesive group network for all industry professionals to interact within and promotes professional development.
