
HarrisonRand Wins 31 Awards
Places First in Statewide Competition
GUTTENBERG, N.J., June 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HarrisonRand, the Hudson County-based Advertising and Public Relations agency, has been recognized with top honors, garnering a total of 31 awards from the NJ Ad Club at their 45th Annual Jersey Awards and from the internationally recognized Hermes Creative Awards. HarrisonRand Advertising is New Jersey's oldest continuously operating agency and the only to be helmed by three generations of a family.
At the Annual Jersey Awards ceremony, held last week at The Palisadium in Cliffside Park, the agency received 10 First Place, 9 Second Place and 10 Third Place awards in 22 categories, making HarrisonRand the most recognized agency at the competition. Multiple First Place honors were bestowed in the Out-Of-Home and Print categories for Choose New Jersey's "New Jersey. A State of Resilience" campaign and Jersey City Medical Center's Hoboken Health Stop campaign.
HarrisonRand also received top honors from the Hermes Creative Awards with a Gold award for the video produced on behalf of Jersey City Medical Center's LibertyHealth Foundation and was also recognized for Choose New Jersey's "State of Resilience" campaign. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.
Brothers Jason and David Rand, both New York agency and media veterans, re-launched the firm in 2009 focusing on a forward-thinking, integrated approach built on the strong tradition of excellence set by their founder and grandfather, Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey recipient, Harold Harrison, and mother Daryl Rand, also a member of the distinguished Hall of Fame roster.
