Harvey & Company Hosts Fifth Annual 'Meet the Funds' Event

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Harvey & Company hosted its fifth annual "Meet the Funds" event last month in Park City, Utah. The event provides a platform for private equity investors to meet accomplished operating executives and collaborate on new investment initiatives. Harvey & Company invites private equity firms with a dedicated practice of partnering with operators to initiate new investments, as well as private equity-appropriate CEOs who want to be highly involved in private equity-backed opportunities. The Harvey team works closely with the fund professionals and the operators to strategically arrange one-on-one meetings that take place over the two-day event.

This year's event included 22 highly respected private equity groups and 50 talented operating executives. Over 400 meetings took place in which investment theses were shared, specific deals were discussed and other opportunities for alignment were identified. The event also included group skiing sessions, cocktail hours and a group networking dinner, which made for an experience conducive to building lasting business relationships. As with previous years, the "Meet the Funds" event has resulted in considerable follow-up activity and has proven to be a valuable experience for attendees.
