
HASCO Medical Appoints Jeff Connor President of Mobility Freedom and Wheelchair Vans of America

(OTCBB: HASC), www.mysouthernmed.com, a managed healthcare provider that serves patients in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, announced today that Jeff Connor has been appointed President of Mobility Freedom and Wheelchair Vans of America. The recently acquired Mobility Freedom has been in operation for 11 years, and has grown to over $10 million in revenue in 2010. Mobility Freedom has four corporate owned stores and two affiliates for a total of six operation centers throughout the State of Florida.
Jeff Connor has over 30 years of experience in the van conversion and rental business. Jeff started in the industry washing trailers for a van conversion/RV company. In 1988, after two years with the Company, Jeff took an equity position in the Company. He soon realized the growing need in the market to service handicapped customers so in 1999, he purchased a small citrus stand and sold conversion vans from there. Jeff was a visionary in the industry turning his business into a dealership model then expanding into additional markets in Florida. In 2008, Jeff bought the original company he had taken an equity position in previously in 1988. Jeff has grown Mobility Freedom into the #1 van conversion Braun dealer in Florida and the #2 Braun dealer in the Southeastern U.S.
