HONOLULU, April 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (HEI) (NYSE - HE) said today that it plans to announce its first quarter 2012 financial results on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. In addition, as a result of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) reporting requirements which require banks to file their financial results with the OCC within 30 days after the end of the quarter, American Savings Bank, F.S.B. (ASB), a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of HEI, plans to announce its first quarter 2012 financial results on April 30, 2012, the expected date of its OCC filing.
The Company also announced that it has scheduled an earnings conference call beginning at 7:00 a.m.Hawaii time (1:00 p.m. Eastern time) on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
