Health Care and Financial Litigation Expert Brad Johnson Joins The Brattle Group

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- International consultancy The Brattle Group announced today that Brad Johnson has joined the firm as a Principal in the San Francisco office.  Mr. Johnson specializes in the application of economic and financial analysis to issues that arise in all phases of complex commercial litigation and executive business decision making, particularly within the health care and financial institutions industries.

Mr. Johnson's recent experience in health care includes addressing issues of competition, pricing, and product liability, as well as the economic performance of health care payers, providers, and pharmaceutical products and manufacturers. In cases involving financial institutions, he has been retained to address securities and asset pricing and valuation, portfolio management, and the economic performance of institutions providing mortgage origination and securitization, auction rate and asset-backed securities, unsecured credit products, venture capital financing, and deposit products.

Prior to joining Brattle, Mr. Johnson was a Founder and Managing Director at Bristlecone Consulting, and was formerly a Principal at Cornerstone Research, where he helped to establish the firm's health care practice. He has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager of Financial Services, Dispute Analysis, and Investigations. He holds an MBA in Financial Economics and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.
