Many customers have already benefited from Health Companion® 1.0, which was introduced in August 2012 and is now enrolling thousands of new registered consumer users every month.  This first release was focused on personal health record and a patient pre-registration tool for healthcare providers seeking to comply with federal ambulatory "Meaningful Use" incentives introduced in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  DR Systems, Inc., a certified electronic health record (EHR) system vendor, began using HealthCompanion.com as its patient portal in 2012 and expects to help approximately 80 healthcare provider organizations achieve a Medicare-sponsored eHR incentive payment by the end of 2012.
