Health Plan Ranks Number One, Launches 24/7 Nurse Advice Line
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the seventh straight year, Health Partners is number one in member satisfaction among HealthChoices plans in the Southeast PA region, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare's (DPW) annual HealthChoices Consumer Guide. In the new report, the health plan ranked #1 in Pennsylvania and/or #1 in the Southeast region in over a dozen categories covering quality and access to care. Health Partners is the only Southeast plan to rank #1 in Pennsylvania in any category.
"Our goal has always been to exceed our members' expectations and to meet all of their healthcare needs," says William S. George, president and CEO at Health Partners. "The fact that we're number one in our region in more than half of the 27 measures says we're on the right track. I'm proud of the level of customer service our employees provide and look forward to even more improvements this year, especially with the addition of our 24/7 Nurse Advice Line."
The newly launched Nurse Advice Line for Health Partners and KidzPartners members continues Health Partners' tradition of exceptional member care. Staffed by registered nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the service provides members with a timely source for help with health issues. Members can receive advice about self-care, information about current medications, or direction regarding when to schedule a primary care appointment and when a given medical condition necessitates immediate attention. The Nurse Advice Line also provides Health Partners with another source for identifying members who can benefit from the health plan's many care management programs.
Health Partners ranks #1 in Pennsylvania in:
- Talking About Ways to Stop Smoking During a Prenatal Visit
